Your role in
Unlock
Your role within Unlock as a nominated spinner would be to act as a verified link in the supply chain for our brands. By directing them to work through your spinners, we could add a vital link to their traceability claims, leading to clear, accountable supply chains. By acting as a well-known, nominated spinner you would add great credibility and value to the Unlock Programme.

Becoming part of our spinners register would show all the brands we work with and those we have yet to connect with that we have verifiable links to spinners around the world, which would help with onboarding further brands onto the Unlock Programme. As Unlock grows to include more regions, cotton qualities and improved removals quantification, your role as a nominated spinner would become ever more important.
Why work with us?
By becoming an Unlock nominated spinner, you instantly get access to all the brands we work with, currently 25 brands from within the Fashion Pact and soon to be more. This offers the opportunity to shift supply through your spinners from brands already involved in the Unlock Programme, greatly increasing the volumes of cotton you process. Being named on our public registry as a Key Partner of Unlock will expand your industry recognition and open up further markets for your spinners.
What's required
from you?
We would need specific information from you to verify the supply chains our brands are connecting through your facilities. This could include invoices, sourcing documentation or attestations.
We would help to link you to existing transactions with our brands, as long as you can provide further evidence to 1st or 2nd supplier level.
How does Unlock support you?
We offer regular support and calls to help you integrate with the Unlock Programme, as well as expert advice on sustainability options and quantification analysis. We have a dedicated team who would be on call to help you with any verification, traceability or other issues.
You and your partners would have access to the Unlock Working Group, a training and facilitation network of brands and partners with a dedicated information portal and regular meetings, which cover a range of topics of interest to the industry, such as FLAG targets, LSRG guidance and EU omnibus declarations. Being an active part of this community will not only give you access to the information being shared, but also make you highly visible to our 25+ brands, who would be able to interact with you directly through this network.
